Now accepting submissions for our SECOND T-SHIRT CHALLENGE!

Your best MACRO/CLOSEUP photo!

THE RULES:

Only submit one (1) image. It can be color or black and white.

The subject matter is up to you, as long as it's close-up, frame filling detail.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.

THE PRIZE:

The winner wins an official NYIP T-shirt. We will also feature the winning photo in an upcoming podcast, and have it shown on our website at nyip.com. The winning image will also be promoted on our twitter and facebook pages.

I love shooting close-ups/macros, so only choosing one was a tough choice! I decided on this image because it was the most extreme macro I'd ever done - I used a 100mm 1:1 macro lens on a bellows unit.

It's the astronaut from the Ohio statehood quarter.
