Hi,

It is nice to see you getting out and about with your camera and getting use to it.

With regards to your first photograph I thing there is to much space to the right of the frame and a tighter crop would have given the street sellar more impact.

I am afraid I just do not get the second one, it is a pile of burst ballons. A tighter crop filling the frame with just random colour would have made an interesting abstract.

Si

Again, I totally agree with your comments on these two pictures, Si

On the first shot the wider veiw would work if it had been shot from the other side of the seller and you had used the curb as a leading line to the seller.

But like Si said a tighter crop, even a lower point of veiw with some more light on the face would have made this a much stronger shot.

On the first one I crop off right part to form a frame composition. Hopefully you don't mind. Oh the light post in the back is distraction.

I the cropped version works a lot better.

Thank you, Jason and Si. Yes, the crop does look a lot better. I didn't see the lamp post almost growing out of the vendor's head till you mentioned it! Where did my photographer's eye go? I wonder. Lots to learn.
