Been super busy with life lately and not doing nearly as much photography as I would like and haven't been on here much.

Tomorrow, I'm going to do Easter Portraits for my Church with 100% of the proceeds going to the church fund. I'm going to setup a background, my lights, etc. They will collect the money from each person/group that wants portraits and then when all is said and done, they will pay the lab costs for the order I will place on their behalf and they will write the check for that order. I didn't want my hands on the money for this as I intend it to be a complete fundraiser deal. Anyway, for me it will be good to get my tail out there and get photographing and for the church it lets them offer value to their attendees and members while adding to their fund to keep things going. Win-Win!

This should be a lot of fun!

Hope it all goes well today!

I'm thinking of doing some family headshots with my new 85mm 1.8 :D

Well it's been a few weeks since I did the Easter Portraits. It's new and small at this point, but we had 11 family want portraits taken. Anyway, I wanted to post this one. I thought this was cute because the Mom paid for the portraits (all money went to the church) and her son was acting really shy and did not want his portrait taken. So originally, I took just one of her, but she came back after a small bribe to him and got him to get in the scene with him. I had to work fast, but was very pleased with this one :)
